About Greg Taylor – Founder of Pure Air Kentucky

Right out of high school, I went to work in our family business alongside my dad, mom, brothers, and uncle. Those early years taught me the value of hard work, attention to detail, and treating customers like family.

In 2002, my wife, Tamra, and I moved to Georgetown, Kentucky, and opened a Chem-Dry carpet cleaning franchise. For over twenty years, we owned and operated that business together, serving both homeowners and commercial facilities across Central Kentucky.

Working in up to five homes a day gave us deep insight into how people live, the challenges they face with their indoor environments, and
the importance of maintaining a healthy home.

In 2020, we discovered a new approach to mold remediation that immediately captured our attention. A fellow franchisee introduced us to a cutting-edge process that didn’t rely on demolition or harsh chemicals. It was faster, more thorough, and finally gave homeowners a way to truly reset their indoor environment. Within months, we launched Pure Air Mold Remediation — and we’ve never looked back.

Since then, we’ve gone from newcomers to specialists who live and breathe this work. Every day, we see how the VaPure process transforms the health of a home in just hours — and how it changes the lives of the people who live there. We’ve been truly blessed to serve families throughout much of Kentucky and to bring this technology to homes that need it most.

Mike Adams CBMI, CBMR

Mike Adams is the founder and COO of Pure Maintenance.  Mike developed the patented application process from a 7ft tall stainless steel tank in his garage to the machine and procedures used today all over the world.  With a customer-first approach to the application, Mike is responsible for restoring the health of thousands of people all over the world.  Mike holds 4 patents related to mold removal and VaPure.

Morgan Henrie CIH, CSP

Morgan is a practicing Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and Certified Safety Professional (CSP).  She is dedicated to improving health of workers and communities through exposure science, identification and control of environmental stressors and sound safety practices

Dr. Matthew Crook

Dr. Matthew B. Crook is an assistant professor of microbial systems.  He earned his Ph.D. in molecular biology in 2013, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Agronomy and the Department of Bacteriology.  He has published 9 scientific articles, in journals such as Science, Applied Environmental Microbiology, and Molecular Plant-Microbe interactions.
